Personal Favourites – 10+ Years of Kent Wedding Photography
Over the past ten-plus years I've been lucky enough to photograph at pretty much all of Kent's best wedding venues, including The East Quay in Whitstable, The Old Kent Barn, Chapel House Estate in Ramsgate, Preston Court and Winters Barns near Canterbury, Quex Park in Birchington, The Dreys in Sittingbourne, The Gardens at Yalding, The Orangery in Maidstone, The Nightyard, Marleybrook House, The Beacon House, and Port Lympne, along with destination weddings in Italy and Ibiza. Looking back through a decade of work, the shots I keep coming back to are almost always the same kinds of moments: couples laughing together, nervous seconds before a ceremony, unposed portraits at golden hour, big reactions during speeches, and everything around the margins of a wedding day that tends to get missed if you're only focused on the set-piece moments. Below is a small selection of favourites from across the years, shot the way I always shoot weddings, quietly and in the background.

I'm a Kent wedding photographer based in Broadstairs, working mostly across Kent, London and the South East, with the occasional destination wedding further afield. My approach has been the same the whole way through: stay in the background, let the day unfold, and capture the honest, unscripted moments that make a wedding what it is.
