Chapel House Estate Wedding Photographer

Jenny and Jack got married at Chapel House Estate in Ramsgate. Chapel House is one of the newer wedding venues on the East Kent coast, opened in 2022 and built around a 700-year-old Grade II listed chapel just outside Ramsgate near Minster. The estate sits on 35 acres of private Kent countryside, with formal gardens, a wild apple orchard, an indoor barn for wet weather ceremonies, and five bedrooms in the restored chapel itself. It's one of those venues where you get the English countryside feel with a modern, polished finish, and it suits couples who want somewhere private, exclusive-use, and genuinely different from the usual Kent wedding venues. I am part of the Chapel House Supplier List and I've photographed at Chapel House Estate many times now and it's a brilliant setting for natural, documentary wedding photography, with plenty of clean backdrops and good light throughout the day.

Natural, documentary wedding photography at Chapel House Estate, Ramsgate

Chapel House Estate is a venue that works perfectly with my approach. The 35 acres of grounds, the orchard, the gardens and the chapel itself give you loads of variety through the day, with plenty of clean backdrops and good light at every stage. There's no need to pull the couple away from guests for long, and the mix of indoor and outdoor spaces means the day flows naturally whatever the weather. If you're planning your wedding at Chapel House Estate and want a photographer who'll stay in the background and let you enjoy the day, I'd love to hear from you. You can get in touch here or take a look at my pricing and packages.
