The Old Kent Barn Wedding Photographer – Marie & Tom

Marie and Tom got married in the spring of April 2024, with a church ceremony at the Church of St Thomas in Canterbury followed by the reception at The Old Kent Barn near Dover. The Old Kent Barn is a multi-award-winning, family-run wedding venue in the village of Swingfield, set between Canterbury, Folkestone and Dover in the heart of the Kent countryside. It's an exclusive-use venue with two barns on site, a 110ft oak-framed barn for ceremonies and receptions, and a 225-year-old original barn with boutique en-suite rooms for overnight stays. The 2.5 acres of landscaped grounds include rose gardens, a wisteria-covered aisle, an informal lake garden, and mature trees that really come into their own in spring. Marie started the day getting ready with her bridesmaids at her family home before arriving at the church in a white London cab, greeted by over 130 guests. After the ceremony everyone hopped on a retro red London bus out to The Old Kent Barn, and the day finished with 150+ people on the dancefloor well into the evening.
