You cant beat the look of film, thats for sure…but when you match it up with Botany Bay in Broadstairs as a back drop and a beautifully dressed couple it simply offers unrivalled photographic beauty. I took this shot last year using an old (1990’s) Hasselblad Xpan and a roll of Fuji Industrial 400. Keep an eye out on my website later this year as i’ll soon be offering vintage film photography as an option in all my wedding packages.

This weeks ‘Photo of the Week’ is from Kate & Sam’s wedding last week at the beautiful Quex Park in Birchington, Kent. Just as the sun was going down we rushed over to the secret garden area and shot a few portrait photo’s. I love how the golden light makes the flower tips glow giving the shot a lovely summery feel :)

My ‘Photo of the Week’ this week is from Annette & Jason’s wedding last Saturday at the Nightyard close to Canterbury. I absolutely loved shooting for these lovely two and their friends & family. The day was full of non stop energy and laughter and it was also my first time shooting at the Nightyard. A really great venue, full of green space, great food and professional & friendly staff.

Jess & Clayton’s highlights from their wedding at the stunning Quex Park in Kent are now live on my portfolio. This wedding was one of the most energetic weddings I have had the pleasure of shooting, so much love and laughter…all day long. Click the link below to check out the shots

This weeks ‘Shot of the Week’ is from Emma & Matt’s beautiful East Quay wedding I shot last Friday. As soon as Matt looked back at Emma as she walked upstairs into the ceremony room he burst into tears. It was such a lovely moment as his Mum & Dad watched on to the side of him.
Fresh up on my portfolio today is this beautiful garden wedding I shot last month in Marden, Kent for Helen & Luke. You can check out some of my highlights at the link below

I managed to get out last week and shot a short cinematic film of Broadstairs during the beautiful snowfall. Try and watch in HD and with the sound up on headphones if possible to get the best experience. All shot on a GoPro :) thanks, James Davies Wedding Photography
Sophie & Mason got married in my hometown of Broadstairs. I might be slightly biased but it provided some amazing backdrops for their day including the famous Morelli's ice cream parlour, Viking Bay & Bleak House. Check out a few of my favourite images from their Broadstairs wedding day.Read More
After envisaging this photo for a couple of years now, all the correct weather conditions and astronomical positions came together on Friday night for me to capture this shot. Taken at Joss Bay in Broadstairs around 130am with the Milky Way arcing over the town with an UWA lens and using a gridded beauty dish to (thinly) light up the couple.
