If you're in any doubt as to whether to book James as your wedding photographer then I'm telling you, DO IT! James has been amazing. Due to Covid we have had to reschedule our wedding 4 times. James has been accommodating to our needs, professional and helpful throughout. We recently received our edited wedding album back and we absolutely love it. Both my husband and I had tears in our eyes when looking at the photos as everything was just so perfectly captured. James was super discreet on the day and I hardly noticed him there which explains how he got some brilliant and candid photographs. We particularly loved our evening shoot with just me and my husband - the lighting was amazing and James took some photos which we will be showing off for a very long time.

JD shot our wedding in Deal on 29 June (10am-10pm). I can't explain how much I do not like being photographed so was dreading the whole wedding pics thing. During our pre-meetings, we got to see James' gallery and it felt like we'd known him for ages which really made the day so much easier. He was one of the crowd (albeit dressed in black!). Our professional pics capture our venues plus all the happy, soppy, moving and romantic bits incredibly well and with a really distinct style. We have great group shots, guest shots, pre-ceremony and ceremony pics as well as evening reception. Our evening portrait shoot was a brilliant way to get a much needed breather, was surprisingly relaxing and a lovely way to take stock of what had happened that day! Our portrait pics really reflect our personalities and make the most of our venue too. It was all so easy and not awkward at all. James promised he'd have our pics ready for our return from our honeymoon and there they were, online and presented really well too on a site that is really easy to share and use; favourites, placing orders as well as downloading the lot. We're amazed that JD soldiered on in the heat (completely unphased it seemed! - unlike me, roasting in full length dress!). Overall, James is an absolute star, a lovely lovely guy to have around and work with and we love the style of his shots and album. Highly recommended & a huge THANK YOU!! Would highly recommend! We booked James for our wedding which was originally planned for November 2020. Due to the pandemic we had to re-arrange and James helped us arrange for our new date with no complications and at no extra cost - we really appreciated this as it was obviously quite a stressful time to be planning a wedding!

We finally had our wedding day on Nov.6th 2021 and it was well worth waiting for! James did an amazing job of capturing our special day and was incredibly skilled at just blending into the background but somehow managing to capture all our family and guests in some beautiful natural shots.

We met several photographers before getting in contact with James, who didn't fill us with confidence as they seemed pushy for what sort of photos that THEY wanted to capture.
