Claire and Alfie got married at Chapel House Estate in Ramsgate during July 2023. The estate is built around a beautifully restored 700-year-old Grade II listed chapel, once known as the Bailiff's House, which now sits at the centre of a 35-acre private estate just outside Ramsgate near Minster. The day started with bridal prep inside the chapel itself, which is genuinely one of the most atmospheric rooms I've photographed in, with centuries of history and plenty of natural light. Alfie arrived around midday with his best man and groomsmen and we grabbed a few relaxed shots of them having a beer in the bar before heading over to the barn for the ceremony. Claire's walk down the aisle was a proper moment, Alfie had tears in his eyes when she met him at the altar, and everyone spilled into the garden afterwards to a live harpist playing and a wall of confetti. Champagne in the orchard followed, then the wedding breakfast inside, speeches, and a walk out into the orchard at golden hour for some portraits as the sun dropped over the gardens.
