A bit about my wedding photography style...

Whilst photographing weddings I love to free roam throughout the day and capture the tiny little moments as they unfold, the bits that fly by in a second but you remember for a lifetime. The shots that have life and character and tell a story about the relationship and bond between those people within the photograph. I naturally detect when these moments are happening (or due to happen) and I get in and out and get the shot before anyone notices me.

Telling the story of the day photographically is about capturing moments unobtrusively in a way that nobody notices I’m there. It’s also about capturing the ‘little’ moments within the ‘big’ moments. Getting the big shots like the first kiss is always the priority of course but what about the other ’subtle’ moments that unfold whilst the big moments are happening? The look on Mum’s face as she see’s her daughter arrive at the alter? The look on the brides face as she is waiting to enter the ceremony? The nerves on the grooms face as the registrar announces everyone to stand for the arrival of the bride? Dad’s reaction to seeing his daughter for the first time in her dress? All of these moments (big & small) make up the story and character of the day and these are the bits I love to capture. I suppose you could also say i'm a wedding photographer for people that dont like to be photographed. I'll never get in your face with the camera, instead i'll quietly work behind the scenes in capturing your day for you.

I’m also now booking for all 2021 weddings so get in touch if you're looking for a Kent Wedding Photographer with a laid back and unobtrusive style.
