Keira & Rich got married at the East Quay Wedding Venue in Whitstable. The day started off at the Headliners Salon along Northdown Road in Cliftonville where i got some shots of Keira, her Mum and the bridesmaides getting their hair styled and having a good laugh before moving onto the family home in Margate to have their make up done and to have a few swift Gin & Tonics and some M&S sandwiches ;) I set off from Margate to Whitstable around noon and arrived at the East Quay around 1pm to greet Rich and his bestman. The guests arrived shortly after and for the first time in wedding history Keira and her Bridesmaides arrived at the venue EARLY....in their VW campervan. The ceremony upstairs within the rustic venue was full of laughs, love and beautiful afternoon light. Once Keira & Rich had walked back down the aisle the guests made their way onto the pebbled beach to sprinkle them in confetti before moving onto to downing a few local oysters with tabasco sauce. The meal on the menu was Great British Fish & Chips and after everyone had helped it down with some champagne and local IPA's the bestman broke into a hilarious cricket filled speech. Keira & Rich joined me outside for a late evening portrait session where we were blessed with some stunning soft coastal light. The day for me finished around 830pm where I photographed the first dance and the first few songs of the band. Another beautiful wedding at Kent's top award winning wedding venue.
